Gamma Ray is our take on a darker roast espresso, fuller, richer, and more developed than usual, but still grounded in our approach to balance, sweetness, and structure.
It’s built for those who prefer a more traditional espresso style, or who find themselves reaching for coffees with deeper, heavier tones.
The base is Estrella del Ostro, a washed Colombian lot known for its clarity and depth. To that, we’ve added one or two complementary coffees, chosen for their ability to hold up to a heavier roast and contribute to a fuller profile.
Where our House Espresso is all about balance and harmony, Gamma Ray leans deeper offering a fuller expression of the coffees we work with. It shines in milk (even almond, oat, and soy) where its richness carries through, and is equally suited to home and espresso machines, or the stovetop espresso pot.
Built and developed to emphasise body, richness, and depth, expect a syrupy cup with lower acidity and plenty of dark chocolate, toasted pecan, and brown sugar.
