Located high in the mountains of Yacuanquer, Nariño, Finca Brisa Eterna takes its name from the constant mountain breezes, drifting mist and gentle drizzles that shape this remarkable landscape. Surrounded by dramatic scenery and fertile volcanic soils, Brisa Eterna benefits from high altitude, climate and rich biodiversity, creating ideal conditions for exceptional specialty coffee production.

Coffee on the farm is harvested with great care through selective picking of perfectly ripe cherries. After each day’s harvest, the cherries are rested in oxygen-free bags for two to three days, depending on the climate, before being pulped. Fermentation then takes place in tanks with oxygen for two days, followed by careful washing to remove floaters and impurities. The coffee is slowly dried for 15–20 days in greenhouse-style plastic tunnels on raised beds, allowing the flavours to develop with clarity and balance.

Around half of the farm is planted with Caturra, alongside smaller lots of Castillo, Geisha, Colombia and Bourbon Rosado. The producer Diego Almeida has been working in coffee for more than 16 years, dedicating the past decade to specialty production. Together with his mother and brother, he manages both the farm and its operations, occasionally bringing in neighbours during the busy harvest period.

Brisa Eterna is a vibrant and productive farm where nearly everything planted flourishes. Like many rural coffee regions, labour shortages remain a challenge as younger generations move to the cities. Despite this, the family continues to invest in the farm, improving infrastructure and refining their processes year after year.

In the cup, we experience a delicate, fruit-forward profile with a velvety mouthfeel. Expect notes of white pear, Fuji apple and toffee sweetness lifted by a bright red berry acidity.

Sourced through our long-term partners at Caravela Coffee, we’re excited to share this beautiful coffee with you that is a true expression of Nariño’s mountains and the care of the family behind it.
